Gamespot editor fired over negative review

1. Gamespot editor Jeff Gerstmann reviews the game Kane and Lynch: Dead Men for the Xbox 360.
2. Eidos, the game's publishers (and heavy purchaser of Gamespot advertising space), takes issue with the negative tone of the review.
3. Gerstmann is purportedly fired on the spot. He'd worked at Gamespot for over 10 years.
   
4. Choas erupts across various game-related sectors of the internet (such as here, here, and especially here)
